The Health and Safety (Display Screen Equipment) Regulations 1992, requires employers to complete DSE assessments on all computer users. Every computer user is at risk. Ailments can include bad backaches, neck pain, discomfort to hands and wrists (WRULD), eye strain, headaches and stress disorders. Our DSE Assessor training course provides participants with a greater understanding of DSE regulations and correct workstation layout.
Participants will be shown how to complete DSE assessments. Towards the end of the training session, they will be encouraged to undertake a practical DSE assessment, while our consultant observes them, so they receive constructive feedback. This way we can ensure they are completing the assessments correctly
